Early Delinquency Servicing Activities and HUD's Loss Mitigation Program Training

This training is for HUD-approved mortgagees, HUD-approved Housing Counselors, and Nonprofit Housing Counselors. For-profit Housing Counselors are not permitted to attend this training. This training includes coverage of: HUD Handbook 4330.1 REV-5, Chapter 7, Delinquencies, Defaults, Mortgage Collection Activities and Initiation of Foreclosure and HUD's Loss Mitigation Program. Additionally, overviews will be presented pertaining to Extension of Time Requests and Variances, Single Family Default Monitoring System, and HUD's Tier Ranking System. NSC does not charge a registration fee. Due to the size of the training facility, space is limited to 45 participants; therefore, registration is based on a first come, first served basis, so register early! Class sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with the training beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. and continuing to 4:00 p.m. each day. Dress is business casual. Delinquency Servicing Reporting, MIP Portfolio Reconciliation and Measuring Servicing Performance

This training is for HUD-approved mortgagees only. This training includes coverage of: Single Family Default Monitoring System (SFDMS) Reporting, FHA Connection, Credit Alert Interactive Voice Response System (CAIVRS), Mortgage Insurance Premium (MIP Portfolio Reconciliation), Tier Ranking System (TRS), and Rollout of Servicing Scorecard. NSC does not charge a registration fee. Due to the size of the training facility, space is limited to 45 participants; therefore, registration is based on a first come, first served basis, so register early! Class sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with the training beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. and continuing to 4:00 p.m. Dress is business casual. Should your plans change and you are not able to attend or should you have any questions, please email sfdatarequests@hud.gov. NSC will be maintaining a waiting list of eligibles for future cancellations.

HUD's IT Modernization: Roadmap to the Future

The Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of the Chief Information Officer is sponsoring an IT vendor event, "HUD's IT Modernization: Roadmap to the Future".   The purpose of the event is to introduce HUD's IT Modernization Plan to IT vendors currently doing business at HUD as well as those IT vendors who are contemplating doing business with HUD in the future.

There will be presentations on HUD's Modernization Plan, Infrastructure, Governance Boards, and additional information useful to any IT vendor doing business at HUD.

Organization Development and Grant Writing Training

On Wednesday, December 17 the Chicago HUD office will host a one day "Organizational Development and Grant Writing Training" workshop at the HUD Office, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Room 2205. The presenter will be Michael McAfee, ED.d of the office of Community Planning and Development. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Lunch on your own from 12; 00 -1:00 p.m.) The morning will focus on the importance of organizational development, and the afternoon will cover the key ranking and rating factors as well as grant submission requirements.
